Avoid handling them inline to prevent timeouts and retries. ### Background vs. Inline Processing * **Inline**: Slower—handles tasks immediately. * **Background**: Faster—queues tasks, allowing immediate webhook response. ### Handling Webhooks 1. Use a queue for long-running tasks to avoid timeouts and retries. 2. Always acknowledge the webhook immediately upon receipt. > **Note** > > ## Webhooks may be sent more than once—add deduplication logic to prevent duplicate events. ## Security Tips ✅ Keep your API key secure ✅ Verify webhook authorization ✅ Validate message format > ℹ️ Coinflow will **retry** sending webhook events until: > > * Your server returns a **200 OK** > * Or 36 hours passes > * Note: Your server must respond within **5 seconds** or the request will timeout and retry. ## Docs - [Configuring Webhooks](https://docs.coinflow.cash/guides/developer-resources/webhooks/configuring-webhooks.md): - [Verifying Webhook Signatures](https://docs.coinflow.cash/guides/developer-resources/webhooks/verifying-webhook-signatures.md): - [Withdraw Webhooks](https://docs.coinflow.cash/guides/developer-resources/webhooks/withdraw-webhooks.md): Developers can use this documentation to listen to webhooks associatied with KYC/B and Withdrawals. - [Configuration Webhooks](https://docs.coinflow.cash/guides/developer-resources/webhooks/configuration-webhooks.md): Get notified when Coinflow changes a merchant-visible setting on your account, such as an enabled payment method or a fee. - [Checkout / Subscription Webhooks](https://docs.coinflow.cash/guides/developer-resources/webhooks/checkout-webhooks.md): Developers can use this documentation to listen to various webhook events related to checkout purchases. - [How to Test Chargeback Events](https://docs.coinflow.cash/guides/developer-resources/webhooks/checkout-webhooks/how-to-test-chargeback-events.md):
