# Configuring Your Settlement Settings

## Configuring Settlement Settings

Before implementing merchant payouts, you must configure how you want to receive settlement funds. Coinflow offers two options:

### Option 1: Coinflow Balance (Recommended)

A hosted balance managed by Coinflow with multiple funding options.

**Advantages:**

* No wallet management required
* No network fees
* Simple API integration
* Multiple funding methods (starting with bank wire)

**How to Configure:**

1. Log into your [merchant dashboard](https://sandbox-merchant.coinflow.cash/settings)
2. Navigate to Settings > Withdrawals
3. Select "Coinflow Balance" as your settlement method
4. Contact Coinflow to receive your funding instructions

**Funding Your Balance:**

* **Wire Transfer**: Request wire instructions from Coinflow

#### Advanced: Implementation Details

The Coinflow Balance is a **Solana-based** wallet. Stellar and EVM chains are not supported for this settlement option. To pay out from a Stellar or EVM wallet, use [Option 2: Bring Your Own Wallet](#option-2-bring-your-own-wallet-byo).

**Additional Funding:**

* **USDC on Solana**: Send USDC to your provided wallet address
