The below table outlines the various statuses a payment might go through during processing. Merchants can use this to track and understand payment progression in real time.

StatusDescription
InitiatedThe customer has confirmed the payment, and Coinflow has created a payment record. The system is now waiting for the customer to complete the payment through their banking app.
DepositedThe customer has completed the payment on their banking app, and funds are waiting to be settled.
SettledThe funds have settled to the Merchant settlement location.
ExpiredThe customer confirmed the payment but failed to complete it in their banking app on time. As a result, the original payment record is no longer valid.
FailedAn issue occurred while attempting to settle funds to the Merchant’s designated settlement location.
